What's new

Built in the open.
Shipped every week.

Every feature, polish and fix we ship on YourBrief — written in plain English, no release-note jargon. Newest first.

  1. Fix

Save changes on brand settings now works in every case

If you uploaded a logo, picked a colour from the palette and clicked Save changes, the page sometimes did nothing — the click registered but no save happened. Fixed: the email previews block on the brand settings page no longer interferes with the form, so Save changes always submits cleanly.

  2. Improvement

New brand setup is faster and more flexible

Spinning up a new client brand now takes a minute, not five. Paste a logo and favicon by URL straight from your asset library, or upload a file — either is fine. Pick from three brand colour presets (Midnight indigo, Forest mint, Slate amber) to skip the colour-picker dance. Set the footer text, drop in a kickoff scheduling link, and (if your role allows) paste a custom <head> snippet for analytics or a chat widget. The brand slug auto-fills from the name and uploads tell you immediately if a file is too big rather than failing silently after submit.

  3. Improvement

Members page is honest about who owns the brand

When a brand is created with an owner who hasn't accepted their invite yet, the members page now shows that person at the top with their name, email and a one-click "Resend onboarding link" button. They also appear in the members list with a clear "Pending claim" badge, so you always know who the brand is waiting on.

  4. Improvement

Email sender preview shows the exact From address

The email sender preview on the brand settings page now shows the full From line your clients will see in their inbox — brand name and email address together, exactly as it leaves the server. If you've set up custom SMTP, you'll see your own domain. Otherwise you'll see the platform's verified sender, with a one-line note explaining how to switch to your own domain when you're ready.

  5. Improvement

Early access rename + homepage polish

We retired the old "Founding deal / Founding agency" wording everywhere it appeared — the top announcement bar, pricing pill, sign-in waitlist link, and the $120/year homepage card all now say "Early access" so the offer reads the same on every surface. The pricing card itself was also tightened: the gradient strip on top no longer clips its rounded corner, the dual price-point copy is easier to scan, and the marketing accents that used to mix amber and indigo are now a single consistent indigo. Nothing about the actual offer has changed — same price, same lifetime feature access, same 7-day trial.

  6. Feature

Onboarding checklist + ⌘K command palette

A friendly 5-step checklist on your dashboard walks new agencies through the first brand setup. Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) anywhere in the admin to jump between brands, submissions, the template library, the changelog and the docs without touching the mouse.

  7. Feature

Saved views + bulk actions on submissions

Filter your submissions list however you like and save the view as a one-click chip. Tick multiple submissions to change their status or delete them in a single action.

  8. Feature

Native Notion, Airtable, HubSpot and Google Sheets

Pipe new submissions straight into the tool you already live in. Map your brief questions to columns once and every brief lands as a row in your CRM, doc database or spreadsheet — no Zapier or Make in the middle.

  9. Feature

Calendly inbound: book the kickoff automatically

Connect a Calendly account and the moment a client books their kickoff, YourBrief generates a personalised brief invite link and emails it to them — so by the time the meeting starts the answers are already in your inbox.

  10. Feature

    Per-question funnel analytics

See exactly which question makes clients hesitate. Each template gets a per-question abandonment chart so you can rewrite the friction out.

  11. Feature

Save your brief and finish later

Clients can now drop their email on the intro screen and we'll mail them a private link that picks up exactly where they left off — perfect for kickoffs that span lunch or two screens.

  12. Feature

    Per-user notification preferences

Decide which submission emails you personally want to receive — without changing what your teammates get. Lives at Account → Notifications.

  13. Improvement

    Per-brand activity log

Every meaningful action — template changes, submission edits, integration toggles — now lives on a dedicated activity tab per brand, so you can see who did what and when.

  14. Improvement

Clone a template in one click

Duplicate any template — sections, questions, settings and all — as a draft, and tweak the copy without touching your live brief.

  15. Improvement

Embed install templates for Webflow, Framer and WordPress

Step-by-step copy-paste install guides at /docs/embed for the three most common stacks. Drop the snippet into your existing site without involving a developer.

  16. Improvement

    Native password reset

Forgot your password? Hit "Forgot it?" on the sign-in page and you'll get a branded reset link. No more pinging support.

  17. Improvement

    Accessibility pass

Skip-to-content link, visible focus rings, ARIA labels on the FAQ accordion, alt text on every brand mark and a colour-contrast warning in the brand editor — so the public brief stays usable for keyboard, screen-reader and low-vision clients.

  18. Feature

Public REST API + signed webhooks

Per-brand bearer tokens, a paginated submissions endpoint and webhook fan-out with HMAC signatures and automatic retries — so your existing tools can read and react to briefs in real time.

  19. Feature

    Embeddable brief snippet

Drop-in JavaScript loader so any external site can host a brief in an iframe with one line of HTML.

  20. Feature

    Resume reminders + funnel telemetry

Magic-link reminders for abandoned briefs, plus a per-template funnel and drop-off view for agencies.

  21. Feature

AI: voice-fill, client summaries and admin summaries

Whisper transcription + GPT extraction lets clients dictate answers; both clients and agency teams get a polished AI summary the moment a brief is submitted.

  22. Feature

    Template library + invite links

Six curated starter briefs you can install in one click, plus per-client invite links with usage tracking.
